RemoveFile component deletes a specified file in a zip archive.
The Remove File component exposes the Control In, Control Out, Data In, and Data In ports by default.
|ControlIn||Must be connected to the Control Out port of one or more components..|
|ControlOut||Can be connected to the Control In port of another component or the default end component.|
|Data In||The Extract All component exposes the following Data In ports by default:
|Data Out||Returns the Boolean value “True” if the files are successfully removed. Otherwise, returns “False”.|
To edit the properties of the
Remove File component, in the
Properties window, change the required property. You can edit the following properties.
|Search||for the respective property.|
|Delay After Execution||Specifies the wait time (in seconds) after the action is performed.|
|Delay Before Execution||Specifies the wait time (in seconds) before the action is performed.|
Let us consider an example.
To remove a specific file from a zip archive:
In the Toolbox, expand
Utilitiesand then expand
Remove Filecomponent and drop it on the Design surface.
zipFilepathbox and enter the location of the zip file.
filePathbox and enter.
You can override the existing data source for the
filePathData In ports.
To override the existing data source:
Right-click the required Data In port.
Overrideand change the data source.

Showcomponent and drop it on the design surface.
Connect the control ports and data ports in the activity.
In the toolbar, click
Intellibot executes the workflow and removes the specified file from the archive.
