Capture component is used to capture the whole screen of desktop or a window.
Capture component exposes the Control In, Control Out and Data Out ports by default.
|ControlIn||Must be connected to the Control Out port of one or more components.|
|ControlOut||Can be connected to the Control In port of another component or the default end component.|
|Data In||Allows the selection of the capture mode "Windows" or "Screen" by default.|
|Data Out||Returns the aligned image(bitmap).|
To edit the properties of the
Capture component, in the Properties window, change the required property. Users can edit the following properties.
|Search||Search for the respective property.|
|Delay After Execution||Specifies the wait time (in seconds) after the action is performed.|
|Delay Before Execution||Specifies the wait time (in seconds) before the action is performed.|
|Enable Timeout||Allows users to enable timeout for the component|
|Timeout||Allows users to define a timeout for the component|
Let us consider an example
To Capture: -
- In the toolbox, expand
Utilitiesand then expand
- Drag the
Capturecomponent and drop it on the Design surface.
Double Click on
CaptureComponent Window Mode and Change the Mode.
Window:- Users can select window mode to capture only studio window or the current active window on the screen.
Screen: - Users can select Screen mode to captures whole desktop screen.
Here we will select Window mode.
To save the
Drag the Save Component and drop it on the design surface.
Double -click the filepath box and enter the required path, including the file name and type.
Connect the control ports and data ports in the activity.
In the toolbar, click Run.
