ConvertToImage

The ConvertToImage component enables users to Convert required Pdf page as Image.

Ports

The ConvertToImage component exposes the Control In, Control Out, Data In ports by default.

Port Description
ControlIn Must be connected to the Control Out port of one or more components.
ControlOut Can be connected to the Control In port of another component or the default end component.
Data In The ConvertToImage component exposes the following Data In ports by default:
PdfFilepath: specifies the location of the PDF file.
Imagepath: specifies the location of the image.
Page Number: specifies the page number of pdf file.
Dpi: Defines pixels per inch (default :200).
Quality: The weighted combination of all the visually significant attributes of an image (default:95)

Properties

To edit the properties of the ConvertToImage component, in the Properties window, change the required property. You can edit the following properties.

Property Description
Search Search for the respective property.
Delay After Execution Specifies the wait time (in seconds) after the action is performed.
Delay Before Execution Specifies the wait time (in seconds) before the action is performed.

Example

Let us consider an example.

To Convert Pdf file to Image:

  1. In the Toolbox, expand Utilities and then expand PDF.

  2. Drag the ConvertToImage component and drop it on the Design surface.

  3. Double-click the PdfFilepath box and enter the required path.

  4. To override the existing data source, right-click PdfFilePath.

  5. Click override and change the data source.

    Note

    To learn more about overriding the data source of the data port, refer the Override section.

  6. Double-click the Image path box and enter the required path (Specify the path to save the converted image file).

  7. Double-click the PageNumber and specify the Page number of the pdf file which you want to extract it as image.

  8. Dpi and Quality port will have default values, either you can override it and specify your own values.

  9. Connect the control ports in the activity.

  10. In the toolbar, click Run.
