Secure Shell

The Secure Shell Connector allows users to perform various operations on Linux and Macintosh Environment.

Note

The Secure Shell is not a default connector and needs to be added to a project every time required.

Refer to the Plugins section to learn more about adding the Secure Shell to a project.

Access.

Once the connector is added to a project, the same can be accessed by expanding the Connectors Section under tool box.

How To Use

To access the Secure Shell connector

  1. In the Toolbox expand Connectors

  2. Drag the Secure Shell component and drop it onto Global Objects

  3. Expand Global Objects

  4. Double click on the Secure Shell component under Global Objects, user will see all the Methods for Secure Shell available under Object Explorer section.

  5. Each method from the list can be dragged and dropped on to the design surface.

Connect

Connect is used to configure the connection with the Linux environment.

Input: HostNameOrIpAddress, Username, Password

IsConnected

Allows the user to check the Linux environment is connected or not.

Allows the user to check the Linux environment is authenticated or not.

RunCommand

Allows the user to run command on Linux environment.
