#WORKING WITH CONNECTORS

Using the INTELLIBOT connectors component user could handle Mutli-level interaction with Various application’s user interface.

IE CONNECTOR

The IE Connector component Allows users to perform various operations on Internet Explorer.

Configure

Note: Go to Plugin Manager and Install “Orchestrator” Connector For more information refer to the Plugin Manager Section. 1.1.3 Access Once the connector is added to a project, the same can be accessed by accessing the Connectors Section in the component’s explorer. 1. In the Toolbox expand Connectors ScreenShot

Image 2 4. Right click on the IE connector (WebApplication_1) under Global Objects and click on Configure.

  1. Click on Dropdown box. All pages which are opened in IE browser will appear in the Dropdown box. Select the web page to be automated and click on ADD SCREEN button.

  1. Click the Title (Sign in -Google accounts ) which is added to WEB PAGES.

Comparer Title Equals: Checks the Current Webpage “Sign in Page” Comparison Type Equals: checks the value with equals condition Contains: checks for the particular input value in the Title and URL Starts With: checks whether giver URL, title starts with given input value Ends With: checks whether giver URL, title ends with given input value Regular Expressions: Using wildcards like() can used in Regular Expression of checking URL and Title Note: --checks for multiple characters

ComparisonValue Checks the Current Target Application.

  1. Click the Title (Sign in -Google accounts ) which is added to WEB PAGES and click on Refresh.

Refresh : Allows user to Refresh the Webpage. Focus : Allows User to Focus the Current Webpage. Capture Element: Allows user to capture the data In Webpage. Add Element : Allows user To add Custom Elements in Webpage. Delete : Allows User to Delete the Selected Capture Element.

  2. Internet Explorer browser will be opened then hover the cursor on the web element on which action to be performed. Hold the CTRL key and name the element and click on icon.

ID(Identifier) An Identifier is a name used to identify the capture element behavior and function or any other user defined item. Name: You can use the Name property CssSelector: A CSS selector is the part of a CSS rule set that actually selects the content you want to style. TagName when you have an element to extract data potentially arbitrary type, and need to perform a type-specific operation.( HTMl or Href)) Match Attributes: This method determines if one Attributes is equals another. Its default implementation is the same as equals, which determines whether two attributes are of the same type and have the same field values.

Properties:

ComparerEquals: checks the value with equals condition. Contains: checks for the particular input value in the Title and URL. Starts With: checks whether given URL, title starts with given input value. Ends With: checks whether giver URL, title ends with given input value.

Regular Expressions: Using wildcards like() can used in Regular Expression of checking URL and Title Note: --checks for multiple characters

Wildcard: Searches is to use a “pattern” that identifies the string of text that you wish to find, and ignores everything else Wildcard examples (*,?,[ ],!,-,#)

Is Not Simple: Checks the value with condition is Equal or not.

DoesnotContain: checks for the particular input value in the Title and URL found or Not

DoesNotStartWith: checks whether given URL, title starts with given input value found or Not

DoesNotEndWith: checks whether given URL, title Ends with given input value Found or Not

IsNotRegularExpression: checks the value is Regular Expression or Not.

IsNotWildCard: checks the value is wildcard or Not.

Escape sequence refers to a combination of characters beginning with a back slash () followed by letters or digits. Ignore Case While using Case-insensitive string comparison is done like this (INTELLIBOT) –(Intellibot) Name
Trim This method is used to removes all leading and Removing white-space characters from the current String object. Type Attribute: Attribute name equals identifier Property: property name equals identifier. Value Identifier

  1. Global Objects below double click on the IE Connector(WebApplication_1), User will see all the options available under Object Explorer section.

  2. Global Objects below double click on the IE Connector(Sign in – Google account) User will see all the options available under Object Explorer section.

Two New input boxes will add to the window to provide the element name and Xpath. DataTable: Data table with extracted data of web elements
