Amazon S3

Amazon S3 has a simple web services interface that user can use to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web.

Note

The Amazon S3 is not a default connector and needs to be added to a project every time required.

Refer to the Plugins section to learn more about adding the Amazon S3 to a project.

Access

To access the Amazon S3 connector options.

  1. In the Toolbox expand Connectors

  2. Drag the Amazon S3 component and drop it under Global Objects.

  3. Expand Global Objects.

  4. Double click on the Amazon S3 Component under Global Objects, User will see all the options for Amazon S3 connector available under Object Explorer Section.

Methods:

SetCredentials

Allows user to set Credentials. The SetCredentials method must be used prior to performing any other operation on Amazon S3.

Input: AccessKey, Secretkey

SetBucket

Allows users to set the Bucket name which is available in amazon web services (AWS). The SetBucket method must be used after SetCredentials method to performing any other operation on amazon s3.

Delete

Allows user to Delete the file from bucket based on given key.

GetObject

Allows user to download the file from bucket.

Input: Key, FilePath

GetObjectList

Allows user to retrieve the List of items which is available in Bucket.
